Portal application for the management of closed Funds

The client is a leading fund Administrators in Germany with over 100 Funds issued. The project goal was to create a web-based, cross-company single sign-on portal application based on Spring / Hibernate and GWT to manage the funds and asset classes. The company-wide goals "increase data quality","standardization processes" and "standardize reporting" were achieved through the incoperation of responsibility in the areas of Business Analyses, IT project management, IT architecture and IT development. In addition to basic issues such as acquisition / maintenance of the fund master data focused on the integration of a document management system and a Reporting-/BI-Tools in the foreground as well as "double check principal" regulations. This project showed again that the central role of an analyst for a business project success is extremely important.


Mulit-client extranet for the management of insurance policies

The client is a leading Assistance company in Germany and works around the Clock with Assistance cases from home and abroad. The customer needed a new platform to enable its service partners, to activate insurance policies online. The extranet should meet the requirements of a modern web application: security, usability, scalability. The old system should be migrated, the solution should be implemented as quickly as possible. The challenge was the mapping of client structures and the adaptation of the portal to the different requirements of each client. Moreover, it should survive the subsequent operation without "expensive" IT resources. The customer-specific differences in the system include varying degrees of enabled functionality, differences in the workflow or in the processes and differences in the look and feel. The new extranet has been delivered on time and within budget and its advantages have been shown in the successful acquisition of new clients.


Tendering platform for foundations and professional asset managers

The customer is acting in the stock market environment and provides many services to its clients in the investment field. The aim of the project was to create a trading portal for institutional assets, which acts as a bidding platform. Our partners proxenos developed the high quality design of the platform and our IT team and the backend connection to the central user management based on Spring / Hibernate and JSF.


Portal for buying and selling companies

Development of a portal solution for Mergers & Acquisitions, which maps the transaction process, including virtual data room. One focus was on development of defined workflows and a detailed permissions model, as is sometimes critical for business data.

Supporting the setup of a new full-service bank

A major bank outsourced their depositary bank, clearing and custody services. Alongside the commercial accompaniment of the sales process, the task of M-Invent was the accounting, financial control and risk management systems, structures and processes of the company, and to rebuild the company which was founded with outsourced components. We are also responsible for the technical testing of newly defined processes in the core system of the new full-service bank.


Optimization of the closing processes - Fast Close

M-Invent took over the analysis and optimization of monthly and in particular annual closing processes from several companies from the SME sector. Through the common multinational structures which were present including the resolution of transfer pricing topics and voting procedures were essential factors towards an accelerated conclusion.

In various SMEs, M-Invent took over the duties of interim commercial director, to bridge crisis or upheaval situations or to accompany the restructuring of the company.


Site optimization

The challenge for M-Invent was to find, for the existing service units of the subsidiary of a global company, a new, cost-effective location in Germany, to accompany the employee changes (breakdown and build up) and to organize the move.


M & A and outsourcing support

For a Munich bank, M-Invent took over the coordination and operational management of a foreign acquisition up to delivery to internal units. We also assisted in running processes (including outsourcing of accounting processes to lower-cost countries).
